Objectives of the Course Unit: | The objective of the course is to provide the students with the skills to apply different techniques specific to Diving. |
Contents of the Course Unit: | The contents of the course include; the history of diving, its development in the world and in Turkey TSSF-CMAS definition and diving activities available throughout Turkey, basic concepts used in diving, basic signs in Diving and rules to be observed, maintenance and storage of diving equipment, safe diving rules and practices in emergency situations, diving charts and diving related diseases, diving physiology, practical diving theory and demonstration on land, working with ABC material, diving applications on water surface and scuba diving applications. |
