OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The aim of the course is to help the students to gain the ability to apply the defense and stroke combinations of the boxing with the right technique.
Contents of the Course Unit: Content of the course contains historical development of boxing, basic concepts, competition rules and points, guard taking, defense techniques, stroke techniques, stroke combinations.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Define the basic concepts of boxing.
Describe the competition rules and scoring system specific to the boxing.
Apply the techniques of the boxing correctly.
Apply defense and strike combinations of the boxing with the right technique.
