OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: Objective of the course is to provide students with the ability to apply basic techniques specific to windsurfing and wave surfing using technical materials and equipment related with surfing.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include concepts related with surfing, windsurfing, wave surfing, safety and first aid in surfing, wind types, techniques specific to surfing and applied surfing training exercises.

Define basic concepts related to surfing.
Explain the purpose of use of technical materials and equipment for surfing.
Explain the technical differences and similarities between windsurfing and wave surfing.
Use technical material and equipment for surfing.
Apply basic techniques specific to windsurfing and wave surfing.
