OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The objective of the course is to help students to gain the ability to apply and plan various activities related to open space and park recreation.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include parks and outdoor recreation resources, classification of parks, city parks, outdoor recreation activities, national parks in the world and in Turkey, recreational use of national parks, outdoor recreation and environmental awareness issues.

Explain the basic information about park recreation
Research on current developments in park and outdoor recreation practices.
Discuss the appropriateness of the physical structure of parks in Turkey and the world park with recreation activities
Apply various activities related with outdoor and park recreation.
Examine various action plans related with outdoor and park recreation
Formulate outdoor and park recreation activity plan.
