OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The objective of the course is to provide the students with the skills to apply different techniques specific to wrestling sports in their own work.
Contents of the Course Unit: Content of the course; Definitions and concepts related to wrestling, historical development of wrestling, wrestling contest rules and wrestling techniques.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Describe the technical terms and rules of the game related to wrestling.
Explain the historical development of wrestling sport.
Apply the basic techniques on foot and on ground applied in the wrestling sport.
Apply basic technical movements specific to wrestling sports with pair exercises.
