Objectives of the Course Unit: | Objective of the course is to provide the students with the ability to practice the hall orienteering, pile traverse orienteering, line orienteering and land (coarse) orienteering according to their rules. |
Contents of the Course Unit: | Contents of the course include the historical development of orienteering, types of orienteering, rules of orienteering, orienteering map and the symbols used, orienteering target information card, basic orienteering techniques, hall studies, pile traverse orienteering studies, line orienteering and land orienteering. |
