OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The aim of the course is to help students the gain ability to practice and teach basketball basic techniques correctly and completely.
Contents of the Course Unit: Content of the course includes structure of Turkish Basketball Federation, functioning of international organizations, the basic techniques of basketball, phasing of teaching of basic techniques in basketball, fundamental defense and offense techniques.

1.Describe the historical development of basketball and explain the basic concepts of the basketball.
2.Recognize and explain basketball game and competition rules.
3.Apply the fundamental techniques of basketball correctly and completely
4.Teach basic techniques of basketball
