OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: Objective of the course is to provide the students the ability to apply the advanced techniques of table tennis, to teach the basic techniques and to gain the ability to prepare the specific training program.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include; rules of table tennis, basic differences in table tennis, forehand and backhand exercises, corner exercises, slip-up stroke technique, field and equipment knowledge in table tennis, international competition field measurements and competition rules, manual basic techniques and movements and preparation of training program.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Explain the principles of special teaching methods for table tennis.
Apply the table tennis techniques at an advanced level.
Apply the specific movement techniques in a coordinated way.
Teach specific basic techniques.
Evaluate the fitness of the content of the program by examining the training programs specific to the table tennis.
Prepare a training program for table tennis.
