Objectives of the Course Unit: | Objective of the course is to provide students the ability to apply first aid techniques used in cases of drowning and injury in the water. |
Contents of the Course Unit: | the standard flags and whistle signs in the pool, the bronze, silver and gold lifeguard levels, safety measures in lifeguarding, swimming, life swimming techniques, remaining above the water, moving below the water, reasons for drowning, staying alive in water for a long time, survival rules, first aid techniques in cases of drowning, rescue techniques in drowning, life saving techniques in water, struggle techniques, methods of carrying injured in water and application studies. |
