OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The aim of lesson; To provide students with the knowledge and skills to explain the needs of physical activity practices for individuals with special needs and to prepare an adapted physical activity program.
Contents of the Course Unit: Course content; It covers the basic concepts of sports for the disabled, the causes of disability, the characteristics of disabled people, the place and importance of sports in the education of disabled youth, motor skill tests, competitions for disabled people, physical activity programs for the disabled and sports activities for different disability groups.

Defines the basic concepts related to Physical Education and Sports Sciences for the Disabled.
Recognize the sports organizations applied for individuals with special needs.
