OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to teach the students the development and change of economic problems in the twentieth century, the factors that arise in solving the problems encountered, the effects of these factors on the solution process and the knowledge of structural problems of developing economies.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include the subjects such as determining current economic problems, and gaining an understanding of what kind of an economic policy to follow against these problems, and detailed analysis of structural problems of the economy of Turkey.

Explain the causes of economic problems.
Interpret the problems by using the methods of economics.
Examine the structural problems of Turkey's economy.
