Objectives of the Course Unit: | This course aims to provide the students with a basic knowledge of the main theoretical approaches which examine the structural and functional aspects of cinema since its beginning. |
Contents of the Course Unit: | Contents of the course include topics such as formal film theory, realistic film theory, psychoanalytic film theory, feminist film theory and postmodern approaches. |
