Objectives of the Course Unit: | The aim of the course is to enable the students to understand generalized electrical machinery concept and to analyze the necessary machine models. |
Contents of the Course Unit: | Electromagnetic concepts and magnetic circuits, Principles of electromechanical energy conversion, Magnetic rotary field analysis and modeling, Moment production mechanisms and generalized expressions in electric machines, Generalized electrical machine models, Orthogonal transformations and double reaction theory, Space vector concept and applications, Specialized in generalized electrical machine equations Situations-1: Infrastructures and Asynchronous Machinery, Generalization of generalized electrical machinery equations-2: Synchronous machine and brushless DC machines. |
