Objectives of the Course Unit:	Türk dilinin özellikleri, dil kuralları, yazılı ve sözlü metinlerle söz varlığı ve yazım kurallarına lişkin bilgi kazandırılması amaçlanmaktadır.
Contents of the Course Unit:	Cümle çeşitleri, anlatım bozuklukları, paragraf anlatım biçimleri, yazılı anlatım türleri, sözlü anlatım türleri, yazım kuralları ve noktalama işaretleri.

Türk Dili üzerine araştırma yapmış araştırmacıların görüşlerinden hareketle yazılı ve sözlü anlatım türlerini listeler.
Örnek metinler üzerinde cümle çeşitlerini kavramaya yönelik uygulamalar yapar.
Alan içi ve alan dışı bilgi kaynaklarını akademik metin yazarken bir araya getirir.
Örnek metinler üzerinde anlatım bozukluklarını türlerine göre sınıflandırır.
Yazım kuralları ve noktalama işaretlerini dikkate alarak örnek metinleri değerlendirir.
