Objectives: | With this lesson; It aims to provide knowledge and experience about applied behavior analysis, which is generally based on the behaviorist approach, and behavior change techniques used within the scope of applied behavior analysis. It is aimed to provide the student with knowledge and skills about applied behavior analysis techniques (techniques for identifying and evaluating behaviors, increasing desired behaviors, and reducing undesirable behaviors). |
Content: | The course covers the concept, characteristics, and principles of applied behavior analysis; methods for measuring behavior or collecting behavioral data and graphing the data; writing behavioral objectives; describing methods for measuring behaviors; interpreting behavior-related graphs; techniques for identifying effective reinforcers; preparing a potential reinforcement list; describing methods for increasing appropriate behaviors; describing strategies for preventing inappropriate behaviors; describing other methods used to reduce inappropriate behaviors; and developing a behavior modification plan. |
