Objectives: | The aim of the course is to explain the structure of the nervous system, the electrical and chemical mechanisms of neural function, the basic organization of the nervous system, its sections, and the basic mechanisms of the neurophysiological diagnostic methods. |
Content: | Introduced to neurophysiology, cerebrospinal fluid, brain blood circulation, the hypothalamus, the autonomic nervous system, the brain stem reticular formation, cranial nerves, sensory pathways, thalamus, sensory cortex, pain, nervous system testing methods, movement and posture control, motor roads, the motor cortex, basal ganglia , cerebellum, motor coordination, sensory, limbic system, the learning memory, sleep physiology will be described. |
