Objectives and Contents

Objectives: The aim is to analyze the structural and functional organization of the nervous system, the fundamentals of neuronal communication, the organization of the nervous system, especially the neural mechanisms of higher-level cognitive processes such as hearing, balance, language-speech, and memory, and their cortical organization, and to provide knowledge about the basic neurophysiological characteristics of central nervous system diseases.
Content: Neurons and the fundamental mechanisms of neuronal communication, the organization of the nervous system, the cerebral cortex, the foundations of sensory physiology, especially hearing, balance, and language-speech, types of memory, and sleep physiology.
