Objectives: | The aim of this course is to enable students to apply their current knowledge to improve the health of the society and to use research methods to understand the determinants that affect health and disease states. It develops students' competencies in analysis, synthesis and planning by providing them with the necessary knowledge and skills to evaluate the health status of the society. |
Content: | Basic concepts of epidemiology, characteristics of epidemiological research, agent-environment-human interaction, application areas of epidemiology (infectious diseases, cardiovascular diseases, cancer epidemiology), knowledge of Addiction epidemiology research. |
