Objectives and Contents

Objectives: The aim of this course is to enable students to acquire the knowledge, skills, and competence to explain the fundamental concepts of research; analyze the relationships between science and research, and theory and research; analyze transformations in scientific research methods and their outcomes; produce scientific knowledge by applying the processes of scientific knowledge production while observing ethical principles; and share this knowledge with target audiences.
Content: This course covers the basic concepts of research, the relationship between science and research, the relationship between theory and research, transformations in scientific research methods, scientific research methods, literature review, research design, sampling techniques, data analysis, academic writing, referencing, and issues related to research and ethics.
