Objectives and Contents

Objectives: The aim of lesson; Discusses the psycho-motor development periods and the theories belonging to these periods, and provides the students with the knowledge to choose motor development test protocols according to the differences of individuals.
Content: Content of the course; What psychomotor development is, principles of motor development, factors affecting motor development, gender differences in development and pervasive developmental disorders. What are the views of psychomotor developmental periods and the theorists of this period (Freud, Piaget, Bandura), differences in motor development and what are the psychomotor tests (Denver balance test, TGMD -Gabamotor tests, Bruininks-Oseretsky Motor Proficiency Test) used to measure and evaluate the standards.
