OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This lesson aim is to learn the legislation related to aviation security. The aim of this course is to learn International Civil Aviation Rules on Basic Security issues.
Contents of the Course Unit: This lesson includes, History of aviation security, International rules, ICAO Annex 19 annex 17, National rules, Plans and programs related to airport security, Airport emergency planning, Airport physical security measures (land side-air side), Airline operation security program, Aircraft security, Human factor in Aviation security and Training activities, Future Trends in Aviation Security.
