OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The aim of the course is to provide students with the skills they need to plan and implement creative processes of advertising using digital design programs (Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator).
Contents of the Course Unit: The course covers visual design elements, design principles, visual perception principles and digital advertising application studies adhering to these principles. At the same time, information about the graphic and typographic elements used in these studies constitutes the content of this course.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Defines the elements and principles of design within the framework of visual communication and design concepts.
Makes inferences about which communication tools should be used by remembering the components of creative strategies and the characteristics of communication in advertising.
It defines the visual perception principles in previous advertising studies.
Applies advertising designs by adhering to graphic design principles and using Adobe Photoshop program.
Applies text, meaning and color rules in visual communication design in Adobe Illustrator.
