Aim and Objectives

Aim of the Program

The purpose of the First Aid and Emergency Care Program is to train qualified healthcare assistants who can provide pre-hospital emergency medical services in accordance with scientific, ethical, and professional principles, and who can effectively perform life-saving and disability-preventing medical interventions during the critical period until the primary treatment of patients and injured individuals is completed. 
 
 

Objectives of the Program

The Goal of the First Aid and Emergency Care Program: The program aims to train health personnel who are physically healthy and strong, capable of making quick and correct decisions, calm, attentive, and highly responsible, with well-developed communication skills, and who are equipped, competent, and professionally qualified to serve in the emergency services level of the healthcare system.
 
Mission: To train high-quality healthcare technicians who can perform pre-hospital emergency healthcare services in accordance with scientific, ethical, and legal principles; provide accurate, rapid, and effective intervention to patients and injured individuals at the scene; keep their professional knowledge and skills up-to-date; are team-oriented; have advanced communication skills; and possess a high sense of social responsibility.
 
Vision: To be an exemplary education program that provides training in line with national and international standards, stands out with its practice-oriented teaching approach, produces graduates who are preferred in the healthcare field, closely follows scientific and technological developments, is open to quality assurance and continuous improvement.
