Aim and Objectives

Aim of the Program

A a response to the question "What is Business Information Management?", the Department of Business Information Management carries out its academic activities for the purpose to perform studies of people, institutions and organizations in the fields of business administration and technology, manage and audit appllications, provide solutions to problems, integrate technology into enterprises, create the required source of information through information technologies and sustain the success of the enterprise. For this purpose, the Department of Business Information Management provides its students with information and skills in the fileds of both business administration and information technologies through courses in the field of education like economy, business administration, management organization, marketing, finance, product management, revenue, accounting, statistics, law and courses from the business information management like computer programming, electronic commerce, e-marketing.

Objectives of the Program

As a combined education program that consists of business administration and information management systems, the Department of Business Information Management takes as an objective to raise qualified individuals who have the capacity to fill an interdisciplinary gap. Within this scope, we are targeting to raise qualified individuals who are familiar with information technologies; use information and communication technologies efficiently; think critically, rationally and creatively from all aspects with well-equipped and effective communication skils; respond to the requirements of the business world rapidly and effectively; crate difference, solve problems; act as a professional in teamworks; committed to future with love and hope; act with a leadership spirit; have a good command in the practice and philosophy of their profession; are socially and environmentally conscious at the utmost level and make success as an indispensable part of their life thanks to their occupational proficiency.
