Graduates of the Data Science and Analytics bachelor’s degree program have access to a wide range of dynamic employment opportunities in today’s rapidly evolving digital transformation landscape. As data-driven decision-making processes gain importance across numerous sectors—including finance, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, energy, logistics, telecommunications, e-commerce, and the public sector—the demand for qualified professionals in this field continues to grow.
 
Graduates can take on roles such as data analyst, data scientist, business intelligence specialist, data engineer, machine learning specialist, and artificial intelligence specialist. Horizontal Transition

The Department of Data Science and Analytics accepts students via horizontal transfer from associate and undergraduate degree programs within the quota, in accordance with the "Regulation on the Principles of Transfer Between Associate Degree and Undergraduate Degree Programs, Double Major, Minor, and Inter-Institutional Credit Transfer in Higher Education Institutions.

Vertical Transmission

All students who wish to transfer to the department through Vertical Transfer must take the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) and attain a qualifying score. Students who meet all the requirements are placed by ÖSYM and gain the right to pursue a four-year undergraduate education at our university. Additionally, associate degree students of Istanbul Gelişim University who earn a paid quota through DGS are granted a 50% scholarship opportunity.
