The main objective of the audiometry program is to train health staff that are capable of assessing the level of hearing and hearing loss.
To train health technicians who can apply audiometric tests that are necessary for measuring hearing loss or identifying the fact that cause the hearing problems. Graduates will be have the title of Audiometrists or health technician after 2 year-education..
Under surveillance and control of Audiology or ENT specialists, graduates can work in Audiology Clinics and hospitals, as well as private companies. They can apply vestibular tests that are related to balance or newborn hearing tests.
Aside from government and university hospitals, graduates have the opportunity to practice their profession in private hospitals, cochlear implant centers, hearing aid centers, industrial companies, private training centers, schools, nursing homes.
Students can be transferred to all programs according to their YGS-1 scores.
