Aim of the Program

Istanbul Gelisim University Faculty of Dentistry, established in 2019, aims to train dentists who administer oral and dental treatment with the latest technologies in the light of up-to- date theoretical and practical knowledge, are sensitive to public health and closely following global developments.

Target of the Program

Our students receive their education in a fully fledged building with modern equipment, and fully equipped laboratories and clinics. In Faculty of Dentistry, our education system is designed to allow our students to improve their professional knowledge and skills from the first year, and proceed to clinical practice within 5 years.

Career Opportunities

• Graduates have the opportunity to work in public or private practice.
• They can work in institutions affiliated to the Ministry of Health and University hospitals.
• Graduates have an opportunity to become a specialist in one of 8 departments after taking Dentistry Specialty Examination (DUS).
• Graduates who want a career in academia can pursue doctorate.

Working Places

Programmes allowing Horizontal Transfer

The students are admitted to the associate and undergraduate programs of our university with the lateral transfer within the quota in accordance with the “Regulation on the Principles of Transition between Programs in the Associate and Undergraduate Level in Higher Education Institutions, Credit Transfer between Institutions”.
