Future of the Department

Industry 4.0, artificial intelligence technology has become an issue that health businesses cannot ignore, and the understanding of business is constantly changing with the formation of a number of trends such as augmented reality, internet of things and data mining. At our university, these changes are supported with elective courses and technological infrastructures.

As it is known, businesses are organizations that live like people in a way. It is unthinkable for businesses to act independently of social events and to ignore generational differences. Some unexpected mass and social events - such as the covid 19 pandemic - may cause some changes/updates in the business models and structures of businesses. In this context, business departments have a flexible structure that can adapt to changes the fastest. Within the framework of all these, the Department of Business Administration is one of the departments that cannot be outdated.

As a result, just like businesses, following trends closely and acting proactively is the basic principle of IGU Health Management.

Who Should Choose

Making videos, designing buildings, or playing basketball might be your passion. Yet, t here's a business side of whatever skill set and interests you have! Consider this: we use
the term "business" when discussing the entertainment industry, project financing, and sports marketing. There is a "business" side to everything.

Have you ever considered: Why businesses exist? Why do businesses organise the activity that takes place within and around them the way they do? How to start your own business? How to make professional connections? Hot to develop essential management skills? Why are all businesses unique, even when competitors are in the same industry? Do you want to learn more about how to be effective in both international and domestic settings? Do you want to learn more about the global business system and the massive multinational corporations that run it? How do the concepts of investment, finance and budgeting work? As a health manager candidate, it is very important to understand management and business functions in the health sector, establish interdisciplinary relationships and stand out in the sector. Basically, if you want to understand the world, studying health management is for you!
