The programme is designed to produce exercise and sports specialists who can develop exercise programmes that take into account individual differences. These specialists will be able to measure, evaluate and analyse in order to improve health, physical fitness, performance and fitness characteristics. They will adopt the principle of protecting the health and safety of individuals of all ages within the framework of ethical rules. Furthermore, they will question and follow scientific and technological developments.
The training of qualified specialists is of paramount importance, and these individuals must adopt the lifelong understanding of exercise and sports, adopt the principle of spreading sports and exercise activities to large masses, support the development of performance and fitness characteristics, and be equipped to meet the exercise and health-related needs of different segments of society.
Graduates of the Department of Exercise and Sport Science are eligible to pursue a career as a healthy life specialist. Upon successful completion of the programme, students are awarded a second-level coaching certificate from the relevant federation, indicating their formal qualification to teach physical education. In addition, students who successfully obtain a pedagogical formation certificate are eligible to pursue a career as physical education and sports teachers in schools that are affiliated with the Ministry of Education. Furthermore, they have the option to pursue advanced education at the master's and doctoral levels in related fields of sports sciences. In addition, they are eligible to become academic staff members at universities, provided they meet the stipulated criteria.

Intra-institutional transfer is permitted, provided that the conditions stipulated in the relevant legislation are met. Transferral is possible to all faculties and colleges. Furthermore, it is possible to transfer to analogous programmes at other institutions.
