Applies late responses and repetitive nerve stimulation techniques in accordance with appropriate protocols.
Explains and applies the definition, scope, and fundamental techniques of intraoperative neuromonitoring (IONM).
Analyzes IONM methodologies by relating them to the surgical process.
Evaluates the effects of EMG devices, imaging systems, and technical factors on recording quality.
Identifies, distinguishes, and corrects artifacts and sources of error in EMG recordings.
Relates the anatomical and physiological characteristics of peripheral nerves to pathological processes.
Applies and interprets femoral, radial, musculocutaneous, and common peroneal nerve stimulations within a clinical context.
Analyzes nerve entrapment sites and brachial and lumbar plexus pathologies using electrophysiological findings.
