Knows patient relations, patient consent form, hygiene procedures. K Learns to take patient's anamnesis, interpret radiographs, perform intraoral examination, perform clinical measurements (plaque index, gingival index, pocket depth, bleeding on probing, attachment level, mobility, fremitus, amount of gingival recession, keratinized gingival width and thickness, mucogingival stress, furcation examination) Knows gum diseases (gingivitis, periodontitis etc.), treatment phases (phase III-III-maintenance), periodontal hand tools. Applies periodontal treatment (tooth surface cleaning). Can provide oral hygiene education to the patient and provide patient motivation
