OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to provide the student with the competence of measuring techniques required to transfer available modern and historical construction project in the paper.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include the subjects such as measuring modern and historical buildings, introduction to conventional and optical measuring techniques, explaining conventional building survey methods, drawing zero-line, triangulation, constitution of plan/ section and appearance.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Define the techniques in which we make building survey
Explain the available building's structure with conventional and optical measuring techniques.
Identify building survey techniques, the date and the project of an available modern building
Measure a building not included in the project thanks to building survey techniques.
Build projects which has a scale complying with the original thanks to building survey techniques.
