OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to develop an ability to think and express the theoretical and conceptual issues related to social problems, to critically express and discuss current problems, and to evaluate the relationship between these concepts and cinema.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course; sociological research, sociological research, sociological theories and methods, globalization and social change.

Interpret the interrelations in individuals, groups and society.
Compares the characteristics of modern and traditional sociological theories.
Explains the historical development of sociological thought.
Comprehends the basic principles of knowledge and science.
Explains the perspective of sociology and its relations with similar sciences.
Evaluates the functioning of the so-called society called individual and the institutions that make it up.
Understand the method of sociology to have information about theories, scientific method.
