OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: To ensure that the student has knowledge about health coding systems
Contents of the Course Unit: This course covers Coding Systems and Data Processing, Concept of Disease and Historical Development of International Classification of Diseases, Development of ICD-10-AM, Importance of International Classification of Diseases, Body Systems, Knowledge of Basic Diseases, Use of International Classification of Diseases in Turkey, Medical Classification Systems, General Introduction of the ICD-10 System and Coding Rules, Use of the ICD-10 System in Alphabetical Index, ICD-10 Coding Standards, Making ICD-10 Codes for Disease Diagnoses in Medical Records, Teaching Common Disease Codes in Turkey, Frequently Used Medical Terms in the Health Sector. contains.
