OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: It aims to familiarize students with the hospital automation program and to learn the automation program practically throughout the hospitals.
Contents of the Course Unit: This course is the history of computer, introduction to hospital automation, hospital automation and computer software types, introduction and types of network technologies, types of hospital information systems, characteristics of hospital information systems, development and processes of health information systems, development and process analysis of health information systems, E-Health and digital hospitals, outpatient treatment module in hospital automation, information systems in insurance tracking and drug tracking, movable property management module in hospital automation, human resources management module in hospital automation, supply chain management in healthcare businesses and the differences between RFID and barcode technology.
