OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: Basic knowledge for emergency care and first aid in the field and aims to develop skills.
Contents of the Course Unit: Provide basic life support, first aid and emergency care in solid suffocation, keep the airway open, Apply Oxygen Therapy provides defibrillation and cardioversion application.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Have a basic professional knowledge.
Know the basic life support protocols.
Apply the basic life support protocols.
Apply choking emergency care.
Information to ensure that the airway patency and has skills.
Ensure airway patency apply for emergency care.
Oxygen therapy is applied in the required condition.
Defibrillation is applied.
Cardioversion has the knowledge and skills to use.
In an emergency, apply intubation.
