OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The resolution of basic concepts in Cytopathology,Understanding the methods of preparation and staining characteristics of those cytological specimens .
Contents of the Course Unit: Cytopathology and Basic Concepts, gynecologic and non- gynecologic cytology samples and obtained methods , fixation, transport, equipment for the cytology laboratory . Routine cytology PAP staining techniques , MGG , fast MGG

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Basic Concepts of Cytopathology and tell their own words , the device used in cytopathology laboratory and diagnostic equipment , says its functions.
Gynecologic and non- gynecologic cytology specimens obtained of the methods of fixation says the rules in the laboratory and transport .
Routine cytology PAP staining techniques , MGG , knows the basic characteristics of rapid MGG methods and their differences from each other.
