OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: It is aimed to give information about the quality control processes and qualification of the devices used in radiotherapy.
Contents of the Course Unit: Radiation definition and classification, introduction to radiation oncology and learning these concepts, basic radiotherapy physics, radiotherapy technician's duties and responsibilities, quality reliability in radiotherapy, devices and measurement systems used in radiotherapy, communication with the patient and informing the patient, etc. includes topics.

Comprehends the interaction of radiation with matter.
Understands the concepts of basic radiation standards in radiation fields.
