OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: Radiation and radiation concept, the effect of radiation on the cells. Radiotherapy treatment planning in radiotherapy equipment and measurement systems used in radiotherapy quality assurance and radiation protection
Contents of the Course Unit: Radiation and to become acquainted with the basic radiation physics by learning the oncological concepts and radiotherapy particle radiation treatment planning and radiotherapy quality assurance , radiation protection , communicating patient and teach their skills to inform the patient.

Understands the concepts of basic radiation standards in radiation fields.
Gains knowledge about the stopping mechanisms of different types of radiation.
Understands the working principles of radiation sensors.
Purpose and application of quality and reliability.
To have knowledge of radiation protection and informing the patient be able to issue.
