OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: It is aimed to learn the histopathological changes in cells, tissues and organs.
Contents of the Course Unit: Introduction to histopathology, evaluation of cell division, differentiation and death mechanisms.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

To be able to examine histopathological changes in organs, tissues and cells by histochemical and immunohistochemical methods.
To be able to evaluate histopathological changes in organs, tissues and cells with different techniques under the microscope.
To be able to determine cell proliferation under the microscope with different histochemical and immunohistochemical methods
To be able to determine cell death under the microscope with different histochemical and immunohistochemical methods
