Objectives of the Course Unit: | The objective of the course is to teach basic concept of parasitology, evolution of parasites, parasite types and hosts, parasitic diseases and treatment methods, diagnosis, treatment and prevention from verious types of parasites such as Protozoon, Helmint and Arthropod. |
Contents of the Course Unit: | Parasite-host, Helmints, Cestods, Nematodes, Trematodes,Protozoa, Amoeba, Sporozoons, Toxoplasma gondii, Ciliated protozoa. |
