| Objectives of the Course Unit: | The aim of this course is to provide knowledge about the contents, general properties, and uses of dental materials, and to develop the application of this knowledge in clinical practice. |
| Contents of the Course Unit: | The course content includes an introduction to materials science, physical and chemical properties of materials, thermal and optical properties of materials, plaster, wax, elastomeric and non-elastomeric impression materials, denture base resins and polymers, artificial teeth, metals and corrosion, investments, dental ceramics, metal-ceramic bonding, and titanium. |
