OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The aim of this course is to explain all the treatment approaches to meet all the systemic, genetic and dental diseases and treatment methods that may be encountered in child dentistry and to meet the tissue losses caused by caries or non -rotten reasons and to direct growth development correctly.
Contents of the Course Unit: The content of this course; Important systemic and genetic diseases in children's dentistry, local anesthesia and tooth extraction in pediatric patients, Dental infection spreading ways in children, drug use for children, periodontal diseases in child patients, place -convanced practices, milk and young permanent teeth trauma, sedation and general anesthesia, atravmatic Restorative treatment, dental erosion and development of teeth.

KEY LEARNING OUTCOMES OF THE COURSE UNIT (On successful completion of this course unit, students/learners will or will be able to)

Child knows important systemic diseases in dentistry and treatment approaches in these diseases. Child knows important genetic diseases and treatment approaches in these diseases. Explains local anesthesia techniques in pediatric patients. He knows tooth extraction techniques in pediatric patients. Dental infection in children explains ways of spreading. Antibiotic/analgesic/anti -inflammatory drug use to children. Gingival and periodontal diseases classes in child patients explain the distinctive diagnosis of classes. Childhood explains infectious diseases and symptoms. Knows placement applications in pediatric patients. Children explain sedation and general anesthesia differences and details in dentistry. He is familiar with traumatic injuries in milk and young permanent teeth. Atraumatic restorative treatment (Art) knows its indications and application. Defines development anomalies in milk and permanent teeth. It is knowledgeable about dental erosion in children.
