OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS
Objectives of the Course Unit:	Periodontoloji dersinin sonunda öğrencilerin; periodontoloji alanındaki hastalıklar ve durumların cerrahi ve cerrahi olayan tedavilerindeki esasları öğrenmeleri, ileri teşhis ve tedavi yöntemleri ile geleneksel tedavi yöntemlerini karşılaştırarak kanıta dayalı bir çerçevede tedavi planlarını multidisipliner bakış açısıyla oluşturabilmeleri amaçlanmaktadır.

Faz II periodontal cerrahi tedavinin uygulanma endikasyonlarını ve prensiplerini açıklar. Dişeti cerrahilerinin uygulanma alanlarını ve endikasyonlarını sayar. Dişeti büyümelerini sınıflandırarak, tedavi basamaklarını ve iyileşme aşamalarını bilir. Periodontal flep cerrahisinin endikasyonlarını, tekniklerin özelliklerini ve iyileşme aşamalarını açıklar. Rezektif kemik cerrahisi endikasyonlarını, tekniklerin özelliklerini ve iyileşme aşamalarını sayar. Rekonstrüktif kemik cerrahisi endikasyonlarını, kullanılan materyallerin sınıflandırmasını ve iyileşme aşamalarını açıklar. Furkasyon defektlerinin sınıflandırılmasını ve tedavi basamaklarını açıklar. Plastik ve estetik periodontal cerrahinin uygulandığı alanları, endikasyonlarını, kullanılan teknikleri sayar. Otojen trombosit kaynaklı biyomateryallerin sınıflandırılmasını ve güncel kullanum alanlarını sayar. Periodontolojide Mikrocerrahi ve Lazerin kullanım alanlarını ve güncel gelişmeleri açıklar. Destekleyici Periodontal Tedavi fazını ve diğer fazlarla olan ilişkisini açıklar. Periodontal Tedavinin Sonuçlarını sayar. Periodontal tedavi yöntemleri ile ilgili olarak kanıta Dayalı Karar Verme sürecini bilir ve multidisipliner olarak vakaları değerlendirir.
