OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: The aim of the course is to provide students with the knowledge and skills to organise sports organisations within the scope of local administrations.
Contents of the Course Unit: The content of the course includes; the concept of local administrations, the concept of central government, the relationship between local administrations and central government, different local administrations, historical development of local administrations in Turkey, municipalities, villages and special provincial administrations, service delivery methods of local administrations, the relationship between sports and local administrations, the spread of sports to the masses, local administrations and open spaces, publicly owned fields and facilities, sports clubs and local administrations, local administrations and sports activities.

Defines the concepts of local administrations and central government.
Distinguishes the administrative differences between local administrations and central administration.
Explains the role and importance of local administrations in the spread of sport to the masses.
Examples of practices related to the methods of providing sports services of local administrations.
Examines and evaluates the functioning of sports organisations carried out within the scope of local administrations.
Organises sports activities carried out within the scope of local administrations.
