OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: In this course, it is aimed that the students have information about the operation of travel agencies and tour operators operating in the tourism sector.
Contents of the Course Unit: This course; The concept of tourism and tourist includes the reasons that lead people to tourist movements, Travel agencies, Tour operator, Package tour, Package tour production, Organization in travel agencies, Relationship of travel agencies with other organizations in the tourism industry.

Defines the concepts of travel and tourism.
Defines the difference between travel and tourism concepts
Understands the establishment and organizational structures of travel agencies.
Explain package tour production, pricing, marketing, sales techniques, strategies, risk management, tour development and planning techniques, and interpret relations with other businesses in the sector,
Defines the characteristics and activities of travel agencies.
