Remembers the history of comparative literature studies.
Knows the methods of comparative literature studies.
Evaluates the common themes and motifs in world and Turkish culture / literature.
Examines the common aspects of Turkish and world myths.
Interpret the relations between national literature and other literatures from an interdisciplinary perspective.
Increases awareness of elements such as language, religion, gender, cultural identities and differences and their effects on literature and uses this information in field studies.
