OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: It is aimed to gain knowledge, skill and attitude about modern nursing roles, to improve the health of the individual and the family, to protect them from diseases, to diagnose and plan nursing education for treatment and rehabilitation, to take part in the decision-making process of execution and evaluation stages for the needs of a healthy or sick individual.
Contents of the Course Unit: Basic Concepts of Education and Teaching, Educational Philosophy, Educational Program Development, Learning Areas, Learning Theories, Multiple Intelligence Theory in Education, Using Communication Techniques in Education, Basic Factors Affecting Learning, Creating a Suitable Environment for Learning, Educational Technologies, Tools and Materials Used in Education and Importance, Adult Education, Health Education, Development and History of Nursing Education, Educational Role of Nurse, Education Process, Requirement Determination, Planning and Programming, Application (Methods and Tools), Measurement and Evaluation and Application Presentations.
