OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS

Objectives of the Course Unit: This course aims to gain mathematical knowledge/skills related to the infrastructure necessary for the establishment of an effective financial policy, making appropriate investment and financing decisions in the enterprises.
Contents of the Course Unit: Contents of the course include the subjects such as Simple Interest, Compound Interest, Discount Transactions, Risk, Return, Variance, Covariance, Correlation, Annuity Calculations.

Recognize the concepts of simple and compound interest.
Distinguish the concepts of simple and compound interest.
Calculate the interest using the formulas of simple and compound interest.
Analyze the bond and stock pricing.
Decide the optimal transaction for pricing.
