OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS |
Objectives of the Course Unit: |
This course aims to teach students the importance of information systems and technology in the business world, why and how the business world uses information systems and how the business objectives shape information systems and technology. |
Contents of the Course Unit: |
Contents of the course include the subjects such as processing of business data, office automation, reporting of information, and basics for the design, implementation, control and strategic use of modern computer based information systems for decision making purposes. Contents of the course include the subjects of electronic data transfer, supply chain management, global information systems, decision support and geographic information systems, artificial intelligence, expert systems, risk, control and security measures. |
