OBJECTIVES AND CONTENTS |
Objectives of the Course Unit: |
This course aims to provide the students with a general understanding of Aristotle's systematic and classical logic that has remained valid until the 20th century and the importance of logic in establishing arguments for science and philosophy. |
Contents of the Course Unit: |
Contents of the course include; pure and formal logic, basic logic principles, types of reasoning, logic of concepts, types of concepts, genus, genre, distinction, intension, plating, propositional logic, types of propositions, mutual relations in simple propositions, inference logic, direct inferences, indirect inferences. |
